Oratoire Saint Joseph

Sur le trajet de Malemort à Saint Antonin, à l’intersection entre la route de Mazan et le chemin de La Bonnefont, la carte de Cassini (XVIIIème siècle) mentionne la chapelle Saint Joseph. On peut voir encore ce petit édifice simple en mauvais état sur des photographies aux environs de 1940. La chapelle menaçant ruine, elle a été démolie en 1955, son souvenir est perpétué par un petit oratoire.

Saint Joseph oratory

On the route from Malemort to Saint Antonin, at the intersection of the route of Mazan and the chemin de La Bonnefont, the 18th-century Cassini map mentions the Saint Joseph chapel. Photographs taken around 1940 still show this simple building in poor condition. The chapel threatened ruin and was demolished in 1955, but its memory is perpetuated by a small oratory.
